These mini labradoodles have headed to their new homes and left us missing their sweet faces each morning. This was a small litter of only four puppies but they made up for their small numbers with their big personalities.
Ripple did a fantastic job raising her puppies and teaching them the ropes of how to be successful labradoodles out in the real world. Ripple tended to the puppies right up until the moment they left Van Isle Labradoodles. She was attentive, loving, playful and genuinely interested in her young charges.
Our families from the Haute Couture litter are located in Port Hardy, Pemberton, Burnaby and Duncan. A lot of driving and ferry trips were involved with this litter! We very much appreciate all the efforts our amazing puppy families go to for their little ones.
Pink collar is now Isla, so named in honour of his birth place on Vancouver Island. Isla is happily living in Pemberton where she is doted on by her new parents.
The only male in the litter is now Tucker and enjoying life in Port Hardy. We can’t wait to see Tucker again at our Van Isle Doodle family BBQ coming up a bit later this month.
Yellow collar is Callie, named for California and living in Burnaby. Callie has a wonderful extended family she enjoys being loved by.
And finally, Giorgio Girl. This little one is our keeper from the litter and is with an incredible guardian home right here in Duncan. Gigi as she is affectionately known, is so lucky to have amazing parents and two terrific kids to grow up with. While we really didn’t want to part with her at all, we know she is in great hands and look forward to her puppies in the future.
Although there were only 4 of these mini labradoodles, each one of them was the perfect fit for their families. We had just the right combination of puppies and people and everyone is thrilled. Most importantly, the puppies are all loved and well cared for – that is always our primary goal at Van Isle Doodles.
Ripple is now mothering our new stud puppy, Smoochers so I think we have a great little Mama with our Ripple. We are pleasantly surprised that she has enjoyed being a mother so much. We are excited for her upcoming litter in January. She and her sister Hazel will both be having a litter of mini labradoodle puppies and we can’t wait for the sisters to raise their puppies together.
Congratulations to all our families and thank-you for being such excellent care givers for our puppies. We are thrilled to have all of you as members of our Van Isle Labradoodle family.
