Cinnamon Swirl are 3 weeks old

These chocolate phantom pups are starting to eat quite a bit of solid food. They are enjoying some goats milk, pablum and pumpkin. This week they have learned how to lick it out of the pan a little easier, so they don’t just walk across the pan anymore and then eat off of each other. But they are still messy little monsters most of the time right now. We will make sure they get a bath before family visit day, but otherwise we don’t like to bathe them too often.

Hazel Update

Mama Hazel no longer needs to nurse the 2 pups from the Shake It Up litter, so these 3 are enjoying having Mom all to themselves again. I think Hazel misses the puppies, but she is doing well. Her guardians came to visit last weekend and that did her a world of good. She has been much happier and more confident since seeing her parents. She has really settled into her role more securely since that visit. We never know how a guardian dog will respond to seeing their parents, but in Hazels case it was a really positive visit.

She is still nursing well but has learned to eat out of the pan quite nicely. She is the sweetest little girl, and very independent right now.

Choco

He is quite good at wearing his pumpkin and is doing well with eating it sometimes as well. He is a very nice relaxed and quiet boy.

She is doing quite well with the solid food as well. A very gentle and kind dog, makes excellent eye contact and is very intuitive.
