Hazel gave us 3 gorgeous mini Labradoodle puppies on February 2. This is her first litter and she is adjusting quite well. She wasn’t too sure how to handle things for the first few hours, but she has settled into her role and is doing a great job with her babies. She is cleaning them and her milk supply is really good as well. Hazel is eating without an issue and is comfortable leaving the puppies for about 5 minutes at a time while she goes outside and visits with the other dogs.
Ripple, with the Razzle Dazzle litter, is sharing the maternity ward with Hazel. They have worked out how to remain protective of their own pups, while sharing the space. Ripple thinks she’s the boss of the world and Hazel has such a lovely demeanor that she just turns her head and looks away as she passes Ripple. We are quite proud of how well Hazel is doing in her new role.
“..unlike our other puppies, we are not putting collars on these puppies because they’re all three very distinct and there’s only three so we’re just going to get them little nicknames.”
We’re going to call him Choco because he is chocolate and a full Phantom. He weighs 278 grams. That’s a really good weight for a little tiny mini labradoodle puppy.
Cinnamon has a beautiful dilute color. This is very similar to the daddy of the litter, Trip. Cinnamon is also a phantom, she has the most white markings out of everyone and is spectacular. She weighed 370 grams when she was born.
This little girl is going to be called Swirl. She is a chocolate phantom with white markings on her toes, neck, head, nose, tummy and tail. She weighs 263 grams, which is a great weight for a mini.
