Peanut is fully recovered from the whelping phase of Motherhood and is in excellent health. She has her figure back already despite eating more than a Saint Bernard! A lot of fuel is required to feed those 8 always hungry mouths. We feed Peanut a special high calorie, high carbohydrate, high protein diet to ensure she is able to produce sufficient milk for all the puppies and maintain her own health at an optimum level.

We are so pleased with this litter. On a purely cosmetic basis they are stunning. The parti markings are nothing short of gorgeous and perfectly correct. The solid chocolates have amazing highlights of copper giving them a glow that is difficult to capture in a picture. Conformation is first rate on each pup and all their ear and tail sets are terrific. Peanut and Fletcher certainly make some show stopping labradoodle puppies together!

On the temperament front, it is too early to make any proclamations but as a whole, they are an exceptionally quiet, calm, happy litter with no outright complainers. Usually there is at least one who is always bellowing about something. The most outspoken of the group at this point in time is black collar girl but even she is very passive compared to what we sometimes experience. She certainly isn’t fussing multiple times demanding intervention by humans. Indeed, we have not been summoned by any of these little angels. This is in part due to Peanut’s hard work but it is also a product of the underlying temperament of the litter as a whole.
