The labradoodle puppies from the Mixed Nuts litter are all well settled into their new forever homes and making great strides! We are tickled to hear from all the families about their puppies sleeping through the night, being potty trained and asking to go out when the potty is needed and even knowing to sit and wait after asking to go out.

They are all growing and just the most darned adorable labradoodle puppies you could ever hope to find! Best of all, their temperaments are also stellar. The native intelligence of the Australian Labradoodle breed makes them yearn to learn and labradoodles will always strive to make their people happy by doing what their people want them to. What more could you ask for than a puppy who is brilliant, adorable, loving and drop dead gorgeous? That’s what you get with a Van Isle Labradoodle puppy – and more – just ask one of our many Van Isle labradoodle families!

Here are some details of the puppies’ new lives and pictures for you to enjoy:

[td1] Black Collar Girl BlackBaby [/td1] [td2]

ReadyThis big, beautiful chocolate/white parti puppy was the first born of the Mixed Nuts litter. We called her GG for Great Girl. She was a breech birth and such a big baby that I wondered what the rest of the litter was going to be like. Jacq as her new Mom calls her was always the first puppy to master new things. Fearless and full of a zest for life, Jacq now lives with not only her wonderful Mom Jan but her Granny Edith as well. Jacq is quite happy in Lantzville enjoying the attention and love of these two terrific women.

[td1] Blue Collar Boy LBBBaby [/td1] [td2]

BenUsThis little fella absolutely stole my heart. We dubbed him Little Boy Blue as he was one of the smaller puppies in the Mixed Nuts litter and had a blue ID band. Sweet doesn’t begin to do justice to this fella’s temperament. I knew from the first week exactly who was getting this amazing labradoodle puppy. Koko as he is now known is deeply loved by his human buddy Ben. Ben is 8 years old and was beside himself with excitement over getting his very own labradoodle puppy. Ben and Koko are a match made in heaven with both of them being the best thing to happen to the other. On pick up day, Koko ran right into Ben’s arms and I don’t think they have spent a moment apart since. Ben’s Moms couldn’t be happier with Koko as well but Koko truly is Ben’s dog and best friend. It’s a good thing Ben was on the list for one of these puppies as I wouldn’t have let Koko out of Van Isle otherwise. Ben insisted that Koko have Peanut as his middle name. Koko has quite the handle as Ben’s surname is a hyphenated one so although Koko is one of the smaller labradoodle puppies we have had he has the biggest heart and the longest name!

[td1] Green Collar Boy Chocobaby[/td1] [td2]

ChocoThis handsome fellow is a gorgeous dark chocolate with a hint of copper in his eyebrows. This is the phantom colour pattern expressing itself in a very subtle manner. Choco is a lucky fellow who is well loved by his Mom who enjoys his lively company and taking him for walks all around Kelowna. Choco especially enjoys having the undivided attention of his Mom and returning all her love and affection with the generosity that is a trademark characteristic of Australian Labradoodles.

[td1] Tan Collar Boy TannerBaby [/td1] [td2]

TannerHomeTanner is the other solid chocolate male from the Mixed Nuts litter. Tanner is smaller than Choco but his heart is huge and his love for his new Mom knows no bounds. Tanner is a thinker but he is also a typical Australian labradoodle puppy with loads of kisses and affection for his people. Tanner is also very intelligent and knows with a younger Mom she needs a chance to catch up on her sleep come the weekend. Tanner’s Mom tells us that Tanner has allowed her to sleep in until 11:00 am! Of course, she didn’t mention what time she and Tanner went to bed! Tanner is also enjoying swimming and goes to work every day with his Mom where he helps her do a great job as a Project Manager. The phantom pattern is evident in Tanner as well with his gorgeous copper highlights and just a dash of white sprinkled on his chest. He is one handsome dood!

[td1] Aqua Collar Girl HarleeBaby [/td1] [td2]

HarleeHomeHarlee lives up Island in Comox with her devoted parents. Harlee most closely resembles Peanut in terms of her looks and she is smart as a whip. This little angel has no trouble knowing how to communicate to her parents she would like to go outside to potty and knowing to sit and wait to be let out as well. We also hear that she attracts quite the crowd wherever she goes with people stopping to admire her Van Isle Labradoodle good looks and to comment on how well trained and behaved she is. Like the Australian Labradoodle breed is known for, this puppy is both beautiful and intelligent. Dynamite combination! And she never runs out of affection for her humans.

[td1] No Collar Girl CocoaBaby

[/td1]

[td2] CocoaHomeCocoa is just about the cutest chocolate Australian Labradoodle puppy I have ever laid eyes on. She has the classic teddy bear face and compact body that makes her look like a living breathing stuffie that you just want to hug forever. Cocoa is an active girl always looking for the next adventure. Cocoa is another typical Van Isle Labradoodle puppy in that her entire focus in life is her people. She can’t wait to be picked up and cuddled and she used to careen through the door every morning so she was the first one to jump into my arms. I miss those Cocoa Good Mornings. Cocoa’s parents are loving their new adventure with a puppy of their own after rescuing many adult dogs when they were younger. Cocoa is now helping to be sure they remain active, alert and wake up a lot earlier than they are used to! Cocoa is showing her new Mom and Dad how clever she is, how labradoodles use that intelligence to play pranks on their humans and to learn things in an instant. We now life in Qualicum Beach is never going to be the same for Cocoa or her parents – they will all be better off and happier!

[td1] Red Parti Girl ZoeyBaby

[/td1]

[td2]

ZoeyHome3Now this puppy was entirely different from all the others in the Mixed Nuts litter. Zoey is a very rare and incredibly beautiful red and white parti girl. Right from the start we knew this girl was going to be the puppy placed with a special family where there was an increased need for the sensitive therapy dog side of Australian Labradoodles. Peanut’s line is especially known for their strong therapy characteristics and Zoey has all the hallmarks of a dog who knows she has an important role to play in her life. Zoey’s new Dad had a stroke a few years ago and enjoys the laughter and love a dog brings to his life. You don’t need words to communicate with Zoey, she can see right into your heart and your soul with her deep compassion and intelligence. At Van Isle Labradoodles we are so proud of our Zoey and the obvious joy she has brought to her family. We also know Zoey is in her element and thriving with the love and affection from her new family. Her stunning good looks are simply a bonus. Another labradoodle puppy from Van Isle Labradoodles who exhibits sensitivity, intelligence and affection all wrapped up in a gorgeous exterior.

This litter of multigenerational Australian Labradoodles out of Peanut, sired by Fletcher was simply stunning. We can’t say enough about how thrilled we are with all the puppies and amazing families we are able to share our love of labradoodles with.

There is one final puppy not mentioned above and that is Yellow Collar Girl

She was not mentioned above because she did not go home. She stayed here at Van Isle as a potential addition to our breeding program pending health testing clearances.

[td2] ChanelAug2016Van Isle’s Chanel No. 3 is a stunning and very rare tri coloured girl in chocolate, white and caramel. Not only is she gorgeous but she emulates all of her Mama labradoodle charms as well. Just like our Peanut, Chanel is a soft, sweet girl who loves to be with people and is head over heels in love with children.

Chanel’s name is a tribute to the memory of a very special labradoodle in Chanel’s pedigree who we were fortunate to share with another breeder some time ago. The No. 3 part of her name is in reference to her three different colours. We hope Cocoa Chanel, the original Chanel in our lives, is impressed with her namesake and how her legacy is continuing. We couldn’t be more thrilled and excited about this little lady and expect amazing things from her after she passes her testing.
