Puppies

Chocolate Milk are 1 Week Old

Wobbles and bobbles

Here we are at the 1 week mark already!  The Chocolate Milk Labradoodle puppies have changed hugely from just 7 days ago when they made their entrance into the world.

We love to focus on how Labradoodles exemplify intelligence and good looks and these Doodle puppies from Oceana and Bruno are great examples of terrific multigeneration Australian Labradoodle puppies at their best.

Already at just 7 days of age, the Chocolate Milk puppies are starting to stand on their wobbly little legs.  All the puppies are able to motor around the nest with great agility whenever they smell Mama Oceana nearby.  Nothing stops these kids from getting to the milk bar!

For labradoodle puppies snuggled togther; one ebony, one white and caramel, one dark caramel one light caramel. The white and ebony puppies have their heads on top of the other two in a snuggly embrace.

While we still have some bobbles with those wobbly legs, it is incredible just how coordinated these puppies are.  Another sign of the great qualities of the Labradoodle breed is that a good number of the puppies already have little slits of their eyes starting to open up.  Now that’s advanced!  10 days is early but 7 days is really something!

Oceana is eating really well and enjoying multiple daily meals of frozen raw beef (she likes her beef popsicle style), raw chicken and a blend of raw lamb, chicken, beef and tripe.  This is all mixed with puppy kibble and generous amounts of calcium and other mineral/vitamin supplements to ensure Oceana stays in good health while keeping all 10 mouths busy and tummies full.  It’s a lot of work to keep 10 tummies full all the time.  Oceana is handling the task with ease.  Oceana enjoys an active lifestyle with her guardians and her physical conditioning is evident by how well and how easily she cares for a larger litter of puppies.

The puppies have all gained very well this past week and their weight gain is pretty consistent across the board.  The statistics table shows that the pups have almost doubled their birth weight and that’s what we strive for in the first 2 weeks.

So cheers and kudos to Oceana and the Chocolate Milk litter.  These labradoodles are on their way to a bright future and making dreams come true for their families.
