Claire here from Van Isle Labradoodles and another tale from the Doodle Den today. Today what we’re doing is the six week update for the Puppy Perrito Fiesta litter. These multi-generation mini Australian Labradoodles are getting pretty close to their time to be allocated to their families. So today what we are going to do is a little brief initial assessment of each of the puppies.

We use a variety of different methods. We’ve combined them together to [00:00:30] develop our own style for assessing the puppies. They haven’t had their formal assessments yet. This is just a preliminary one. This is based on the notes that Renold, myself and our assistant have made from the time the puppies have been born right through to today when they are six weeks old. So we’re going to start with each individual puppy and give you just a little synopsis and tiny of snapshot of what they’re all about today.

So the first one here is going to be [00:01:00] the biggest boy in the litter. This little guy is our chocolate and white party and he is the big fellow. He is always the one who does everything first. He is brave beyond belief. He has no fear of anything. He loves to explore and go and try everything that’s new. Whatever the first thing is that’s happening, he’s the one who’s going to do it. He was the first one outside, down the ramp. The first one to walk and so on. He really [00:01:30] is the leader of the pack, but he’s also a sweet, sweet boy, very gentle and kind and you can see he loves to be snuggled and give kisses. So that’s the party boy.

The next one here that we’ll do, we’ll pick right here. This is light blue collar. He’s one of the smaller puppies in the group and you can see he’s got the really pretty white markings. This guy is doll. He is a snuggle bug. He loves [00:02:00] to be with people all the time. His favorite thing is to be held, but he’s also quite outgoing, he loves to explore. Today I had them all outside and he was running around in the leaves having a great time. I’ll give you some pictures of those events a little later. So he’s a nice balanced all around fellow with lots and lots of personality and lots of snuggles and kisses, a great guy.

Now right here, this is the only girl from the litter. This [00:02:30] is orange collar and she’s also a little tiny one. She and light blue collar are the two smallest puppies in the litter. She is a little big quieter. She is mostly interested in being held and having kisses and hugs. She’s very affectionate and she too likes to go out and run around and have a great time. You can see she likes to kiss and snuggle up just like the others do. They are a very affectionate litter. Lovely puppies.

Then over here, our next [00:03:00] puppy here is Mr. green collar. Mr. green collar is smack dab in the middle of the group in terms of size. Oh, it’s okay, it’s okay honey. You can see orange collar is getting a little jealous. He’s a sweet fellow, he’s very considerate, he likes to think things through before he takes action, and he’s always right smack dab in the middle of the pack. He’s also very cuddly and snugly and just a little bit quieter than the first three that we went through [00:03:30] there. He’s a really nice little guy.

And our last puppy here is another one of the bit guys. He’s almost as big as the party fellow is. He may actually even weight the same. This is purple collar. Purple collar is the one who thinks about things the most. He likes to be sure that it’s safe before he does something and he appears to be camera shy as well. He likes to hang back and wait and see [00:04:00] what everyone else does before he goes forward and joins in the group. Once he decides that it’s something safe and fun to do though, he’s right in there, full steam ahead. And he loves his kisses too.

So that’s the Perrito Fiesta litter and their little mini assessments. Next week when we get back together, we’ll talk about what their eating. How to feed them and all those sorts of things and treats as well. So we hope you enjoyed this little information session on your mini labradoodles [00:04:30] from Van Isle Labradoodles. Please feel free to send some comments or questions. Post your questions, I’m happy to answer any of them here on the video. Hope you enjoyed it. Thanks.
