The gorgeous mini Labradoodle puppies from the Perrito Fiesta litter (Pippa with Hombre) are masters of their own bodies these days. Eyes and ears are open and fully functional. Elimination is able to be performed without the assistance of Mama Pippa. Eating from a pan is also something all these gorgeous chocolate sable, phantom and parti Labradoodle puppies have mastered as well.
As a Labradoodle breeder, my favourite time is when the puppies are 3 to 5 weeks old. Their personalities become more evident. They start to interact fully with one another and me. Their teeth are still just erupting so we don’t have to focus on bite inhibition yet. They make you giggle with all their antics and forays into becoming a mature puppy.
The Perrito Fiesta puppies are particularly unique due to their gorgeous colours and markings. Sable is a fairly rare colour for Labradoodles. The puppies in this litter of mini Labradoodles has several sable coloured puppies. Then there are the beautiful phantom and parti marked puppies who round out this remarkable litter of puppies.
They make you giggle with all their antics and forays into becoming a mature puppy.
Pippa is still being a devoted Mama Labradoodle to her puppies and taking good care of them. She leaves them alone for longer periods of time during the day now. Nevertheless, she keeps one eye on them at all times and ensures no other dogs or strangers get too close to her precious family.
This is Pippa’s retirement litter and we are hopeful that we will keep her line moving forward with a keeper or two from this litter. One of the boys may be headed all the way to Switzerland to become a stud dog for a breeder there. We are hoping to keep orange collar girl here as a Van Isle Labradoodle breeding prospect.
