This enormous litter is doing well. With large litters the puppies will often divide themselves into groups to ensure everyone gets enough nourishment. These puppies are no different, they have done well with rotating to make sure everyone gets a chance to nurse. But we have stepped in a bit to help out, we have taken Pink and Green and given them to our other Mama Hazel to nurse. Hazel only has 3 pups in her litter, Cinnamon Swirl, who are very close in age. She has accepted them and it seems to be working out quite well. Everyone is doing well with weight, both Mamas are happy and all the puppies are well taken care of.

Solid black. She hasn’t quite doubled her weight but she is doing well. We do help her out a bit to find a spot to nurse as she is one of the smaller puppies.
