Peanut and Tickle have successfully honeymooned! Peanut gave us a bit of a shock when she cycled 6 weeks early and there were some initial concerns this might mean she would not become pregnant. But Peanut is a trooper and Tickle knows his job, and loves it; together they could not be stopped! We would like to acknowledge and thank our two amazing fellow breeders, Cheyene Dyer from Leapfrog Labradoodles and Darice Conrad from Puppy Love Labradoodles (Tickle’s human Mama) for reassuring us and suggesting we go ahead with a honeymoon.
This litter has been dubbed the Peanut Buttercups litter, so named by one of the lucky families on Peanut’s list. The reason for the name choice is because of the multitude of colour and pattern possibilities with this litter. Peanut is a chocolate parti who carries for phantom and Tickle is a chocolate phantom who carries for parti. There is also some black on Tickle’s side so we could see any of the following colours and patterns:
We are very hopeful here at Van Isle Doodles that we will have a lovely black phantom to keep back as a successor to our amazing Lil Peanut. All the puppies will have amazing soft fleece coats that are non-shedding with a soft wave. Peanut has the cuddliest coat in the world and these puppies will share that trait with her.
We expect this litter to make its debut around the middle of March with a going home date around mid-May.
Peanut is our most devoted and loving labradoodle and Tickle is also a bear for giving and receiving affection. Both dogs love children, playing games and sitting on their humans’ laps. Clever, affectionate, devoted, loyal and friendly are the adjectives most often used to describe the temperaments of these two outstanding labradoodles.

Please note, our labradoodle puppies are usually booked six to eighteen months in advance as they are highly sought after.
