How do you get a puppy to be a balanced, calm adult dog?
It starts early with your breeder.
Your puppy needs to be exposed to things gradually and positively to help them develop into wonderful adult dogs.
Australian Labradoodle puppies love people. It’s part of their genetic DNA. This doesn’t mean they won’t be scared of new people though. Your Labradoodle puppy might also be scared of loud sounds, new experiences or anything out of the ordinary if they aren’t properly desensitized by your breeder.
Working with the puppies and not forcing them to do things too soon is important to being successful.
Allowing the puppies lots of time to decompress in a quiet environment is also important.

Noisette is a wonderful Doodle Mama who looks after her puppies with devotion and care. She doesn’t helicopter them though. This means your puppy will be a better balanced adult dog.
