Feeding a natural whole food diet to your dog is key to their overall health.
Ensuring that raw diet is balanced, complete and rotated is an important aspect of raw feeding for your dog.
As Labradoodle breeders, we wean all our puppies to raw and continue to provide them with a raw diet throughout their lives.
Rotating different proteins in a raw diet for dogs is key. Each protein brings something different to your Labradoodle’s bowl. Feeding just one protein, even with a processed kibble food diet for dogs, does them long-term harm. You can’t, for instance, just feed your dog salmon or chicken or beef. You need to feed your dog a variety of all different proteins.
Dogs need half of their protein to come from a red protein and half from a white protein.

After a week away for surgery, Mama Labradoodle, Orca is back with her adorable puppies. During her absence, we tube-fed the puppies every 3 hours, ensuring they stayed healthy and strong. Now, Orca’s milk is back, and the puppies are thriving. The puppies have also started eating solid food.
